The Course times
We run the TLI41416 certificate iv in transport and logistics course throughout the year at regular intervals that will generally be every two weeks, but please contact the office for the area you wish to attend for course dates as each training area will set their course times that are relevant for that areas. The face to face parts of the course are split into different sections and you will need to do all of the sections to be found competent. You can arrange to do each section at different times to suit your schedule, and it is expected that you would complete all of the work required within a three to six month period, although the timing is really up to you as long as all of the work has been completed.
There is a mixture of theory and practical work that needs to be completed in this time. The first week of the course is related to the theory component of the course. The second section of the course will see you completing a full week of face to face practical work related to your Riding and application of the road rules and knowledge of road related legislation. Included in this will be workshops on the training of new drivers and assessment processes. After completing this section you will need to complete a least 10 hours observation of actual lessons with an approved Rider trainer with students, this though will only be done with the consent of the Rider Trainers student. This can be completed at mutually agreed times with the trainer/s, but there is no restriction as to when this is to occur.
You will have assignments and theory questions to be completed in your own time, but will be able to access support through email, phone and other group days at the training rooms specificaly set to assist with questions and assistance/support of our clients.
